Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Recently the Utah Area Presidency counseled bishops and stake presidents to more closely align the streaming of sacrament meetings with the instructions in the General Handbook. These guidelines authorize the bishop, as an exception, to allow members with special needs to view sacrament meetings remotely. Additionally, the bishop may authorize a priest or Melchizedek Priesthood holder to administer the sacrament in person to those who cannot attend the meeting.
In compliance with these instructions, sacrament meeting streaming links will no longer be made available on a general basis. They will only be made available on an individual basis at the discretion of the bishop. We invite you to counsel with your bishop if you feel sacrament meeting attendance in person will present significant health or other difficulties for you or members of your family. Thank you for your dedication to the Savior and may His peace find place in each of our hearts as we obediently serve him.
